TWRA'S GIS OFFERS SERVICES ONLINE The Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency have been working to provide the public with easily accessible information about land and wildlife matters. Thanks to the GIS specialists' efforts, the TWRA web site currently features basic, printable maps of some popular TWRA supervised wildlife management areas (WMA). Information on ordering more detailed, color WMA maps and National Wetland Inventory (NWI) quadrangle sheets is also provided on the agency's web site. The GIS department is also working on some other features that will soon be available on the web site. These include land usage and vegetation cover maps, as well as statewide deer data tables. This
information can be accessed through the GIS link on the TWRA web site at
www.tnwildlife.org.
