CRAPPIE USA FALL TOURNEY
Crappie USA returns to Kentucky and Barkley Lakes on September 24, for a
one day open tournament. This is the opportunity for local anglers to
compete for cash, prizes and a chance to advance to the 2016 Cabela's
Crappie USA Classic.
Registration and weigh-in for the upcoming event will be held at
total of 54 teams will qualify to compete at The Classic event that will
be held October 27-29 on Kentucky and Barkley Lakes and based out of Paris
Landing State Park.

CRAPPIE USA RESULTS
Last Saturday’s Crappie USA tournament had 84 boats competing on Kentucky
and Barkley Lakes in the early fall event.
Taking the top spot in the Pro Division was the team of John Eubanks of
Trenton and partner Shane Moore of Milan with a seven fish limit weighing
10.91 pounds. It earned them a lot of respect and a check for $2,200.
The trail has two divisions and winning the Amateur Division was the team
of Kris and Terry Mann of Mt. Sterling, IL. Their stringer weighing 8.84
pounds earned them a check for $1,200 plus a $250 Ranger Cup Bonus.
Big fish of the tournament was a 1.96-pound slab taken by Matthew and
Brandon Tosh of Rutherford earning them $1,100.
The Crappie USA Classic returns to Kentucky and Barkley Lakes October
27-29 when the test of the best event culminates this year’s tournament
trail by crowning the 2016 Classic Champions.
