Last Saturday’s Crappie USA tournament had 84 boats competing on Kentucky and Barkley Lakes in the early fall event.

Taking the top spot in the Pro Division was the team of John Eubanks of Trenton and partner Shane Moore of Milan with a seven fish limit weighing 10.91 pounds. It earned them a lot of respect and a check for $2,200.

The trail has two divisions and winning the Amateur Division was the team of Kris and Terry Mann of Mt. Sterling, IL. Their stringer weighing 8.84 pounds earned them a check for $1,200 plus a $250 Ranger Cup Bonus.

Big fish of the tournament was a 1.96-pound slab taken by Matthew and Brandon Tosh of Rutherford earning them $1,100.

The Crappie USA Classic returns to Kentucky and Barkley Lakes October 27-29 when the test of the best event culminates this year’s tournament trail by crowning the 2016 Classic Champions.
